Group Presentation Guidelines

Students will form groups of 3-4 and present their People of the Year in one multimedia format. Groups should come up with a theme under which all of their people can be categorized (ex. Athletes, Event (Sandy Hook), Inspirational, Motivational, Record Breakers, World Leaders). The theme should be listed in the introduction of the presentation.

Presentation should be 5-7 minutes in length, and groups are free to use any multimedia program they choose (iMovie, Prezi, Animoto, Google Presentations). Groups should cover each of their people of the year, using both videos (clips should be around 30 seconds)  and pictures, and how their people of the year fit into the the group’s theme.

For each Person of the Year, groups must cover (in bullet points):

  1. Biography of the Person
  2. What they did in 2012
  3. Why you believe this person is so important

Tuesday's Agenda

Today we will be turning in our papers and begin discussing the group presentations where we will review expectations. Students will form their groups, and we will head to the computer lab to begin creating our presentations.
