Students will form groups of 3-4 and present
their People of the Year in one multimedia format. Groups should come up with a
theme under which all of their people can be categorized (ex. Athletes,
Event (Sandy Hook), Inspirational, Motivational, Record Breakers, World
Leaders). The theme should be listed in the introduction of the presentation.
Presentation should be 5-7 minutes in length, and groups are free to use any multimedia program they choose (iMovie, Prezi, Animoto, Google Presentations). Groups should cover each of their people of the year, using both videos (clips should be around 30 seconds) and pictures, and how their people of the year fit into the group’s theme. While students are allowed to speak orally during the presentation, most of the information should be contained within the presentation. (The presentation should be able to “stand on its own.”)

1.
Biography of
the Person
2.
What they did
in 2012
3.
